For many years Vikki Blair has been documenting the Cajun dance community in the Bay area. She has been the primary source of photos for our group over the years. She has curated a group of these historic Cajun Zydeco dance pictures for us all to enjoy.

Welcome! I have been photographing musicians in the San Francisco Bay Area, and beyond, since 1973. I discovered Zydeco quite by accident at events like the San Francisco Blues Festival and Monterey Jazz Festival. A big fan of all things New Orleans, Zydeco is just one more feather in the cap of the Big Easy. Hopefully, in some small way, sharing these photos will give something back to those who gave me so much. I hope you enjoy these images.
Cheers
Jerry
